1. Who are we?
We are a non-profit and charitable organization that supports and aids disadvantaged children in Afghanistan. Through our projects, we aim to develop, enhance the lives of these disadvantaged children.
2. Who are we accountable to?
As part of our mission to provide disadvantaged children an environment to prosper, we are accountable to our beneficiaries. UNACC is also accountable to its stakeholders: partners, donors and supporters, Board, staff, and the public.
3. Where does the UNACC’s funding come from?
As a non-profit organization, we work independently free of any government, institution, or political affiliation. We are a group of dedicated, committed individuals who volunteer to support disadvantaged children in Afghanistan.
4. How do we decide which issue area to work with?
Our projects are centered primarily on rehabilitating and renovating disadvantaged children, and their orphanage homes.
5. Who benefits from our work?
Our work is promoted to benefit disadvantaged Afghan children by helping them live in a safe and happy “home” environment.
6. Which areas of Afghanistan do we focus on?
We support projects that benefit disadvantaged Afghan children throughout Afghanistan’s provinces.
7. How can I donate?
Your kind and generous donation will help brighten the lives of these poor and destitute children. Your donation goes directly into helping implement various projects within an orphanage.
8. How can I get involved?
We need support to raise awareness, and spread the word on helping Afghanistan’s disadvantaged children. There are several things you can do to help:
Start a donation box and collect from within your family
Tweet, blog, or start a Facebook page about disadvantaged Afghan children
Help by asking Afghan businesses to become donors
Raise money through bake sales or car washes
Spread the word to your family and co-workers
Donate – your kind donations will make a positive change in the children’s lives
