Manila is born in 2005 in Kabul. She lives with her mother and two siblings. The family lives in a rental one-bedroom home at Kabul.

Manila's father passed away before she was born. Her mother is a housewife. Since 2014, UNACC supports Manila's family.

Currently, Manila attends grade 7 at Makhfy Badakhshi High School. She has not decided on a future career path yet.
